      Aux parfums des temps’de naguĂšre…

      Aux parfums des terres de naguĂšre
      Que mes ancĂȘtres ont foulĂ©es
      Jonchaient aux chemins tant de pierres
      Qu’ils ont alors dĂ» soulever
      Puis au cheval fixant l’araire
      Afin de mieux la labourer
      Jusqu’au soir aux faibles lumiĂšres
      D’une lanterne, fatiguĂ©s…

      Aux saveurs tendres de naguĂšre
      Ils s’en allaient faucher les blĂ©s
      Avec leurs faux en bandouliĂšre
      Et les amis pour seule armée
      Puis ensemble comme des frĂšres,
      Pour l’hiver base du souper,
      RĂ©coltaient les pommes de terre
      Avant que pluie ne fût tombée.

      Aux parfums des chants de naguĂšre
      Mes aĂŻeux s’en allaient fĂȘter
      A la lumiĂšre incendiaire
      Que la Saint Jean fait embraser
      Ils dansaient au son de ces airs
      Que la foule savait goualer
      AprĂšs s’ĂȘtre roulĂ©e par terre
      D’avoir trop bu et trop mangĂ© !

      J’aime parfois me ressourcer
      Aux lignes que de vieux libraires
      Ont fini par abandonner…
