      Le poÚte rima sur le vent provençal,
      Tant de fois que son souffle vint s’en souvenir,
      L’accompagnant nuit et jour de longues rafales,
      Usantes et anxieuses comme un dernier soupir.

      Ce méridional à la plume fort fébrile,
      Noircit inlassablement au fil des années,
      Immenses cahiers de son humour si fertile,
      Contant les peines et les joies de sa lignée.

      Natif d’un tout petit village bien charmant,
      Il narrait la pétanque et les abrivados,
      De son joli accent parfumé chantonnant,
      Son amour Ă©ternel des courageux taureaux.

      PoĂšte parti pour un Ă©ternel exil,
      Mystérieuse, angoissante, trop lointaine adresse,
      Promener sa vieille silhouette fragile,
      En murmurant rimes et vers de sa jeunesse.
